I have deep roots in the San Luis Valley that span generations. My family’s history in this area began in 1951 when we owned Antler’s Guest Ranch in Creede, CO. My father taught me how to fly fish in the Rio Grande waters and introduced me to skiing at Wolf Creek in the 70s. When I later looked back on these experiences, I knew that one day I would make this region my permanent home.
After raising my kids in Kansas City and enjoying a fulfilling first career, the call of the San Luis Valley became irresistible. From dining at the historic Windsor Hotel in Del Norte with its exceptional wine pairings, to playing golf at the beautiful Rio Grande Club and Resort in South Fork, skiing at Wolf Creek, fly fishing on Shallow Creek, and ending the day with a show at the Creede Repertory Theatre—this area offers something for everyone.
